Overview
Course objectives:
Understand the problematic relationship between museum studies and heritage with the dynamics of tourism and to develop skills and competences in the fields of tourism heritage activation and museum studies.
Learning outcomes and competences:
- Knowing how to recognize good patrimonial and museological practices that promote tourism activation;
- Mastering the concepts of museum studies and heritage in its relationship with sustainable tourism development;
- To identify instruments for mediation of heritage as a tourist asset;
- To be able to identify and promote the potential of cultural and museological heritage as a tourist attraction, namely to propose strategies for the communication of museums and heritage;
- To develop research skills and critical ability to update knowledge.
