Overview
Course description
This course explores, by means of case study exercises, the decisions made in the design of operating systems to deliver products and services to consumers of the outputs of a range of organisations.
Learning and teaching methods
20 hours of lectures (10 x 2 hours)
Assessment
Individual essay (2000 words) based on a case study (30%). This is designed to help students develop skills in presenting arguments and information coherently and concisely.
Degree examination (2 hours) on a previously circulated case study (70%).
