OverviewThis module introduces students to another central area of concern for media studies: the analysis of film andtelevision texts. The major task is to analyse in detail the representational modes of film and television,including the roles of camera, lighting, editing and sound, and to understand how these combine to formnarratives.
Courses and course hours of instruction are subject to change.
Eligibility for courses may be subject to a placement exam and/or pre-requisites.
Some courses may require additional fees.
Please reference fall and spring course lists as not all courses are taught during both semesters.
