    General Description
    The basic aim of this course is to acquaint the students with Spanish Literature, its history as well as the most outstanding authors. The study of the works of these authors will be a priority activity on this course. Complete works or sections of works will be used as considered suitable and in the other cases the most representative authors of a period or literary movement will be made known.

    Class readings of the selected texts and commentaries. Short written commentaries on some works. Participation in cultural acts, such as conferences or poetry readings. Visits to places related to the works of Federico García Lorca or Francisco Ayala,
    - Active classroom participation: 50%.
    - Final exam: 50%.
