A. GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Understand and express oneself correctly and fluently in familiar situations. Adequately communicate in situations which are not familiar while also utilizing complex linguistic structures.
B. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
Listening Comprehension- Understand the general content and details of conversations between various native speakers spoken at a normal speed, including topics which are unfamiliar to the student.
Oral Proficiency- Students must be able to participate adequately in conversations dealing with any given topic. In these conversations students must be able to contribute and effectively express personal opinions and viewpoints easily and with precision.
Reading Comprehension- Students will understand both the details as well as the conveyed purpose of various types of texts which deal with topics unfamiliar to the student.
Written Proficiency- The student will be able to produce written texts of various types which not only pertain to everyday needs, but which also deal with specific personal and professional interests of the student. In these written compositions the student will be able to effectively and concisely express personal opinions and perspectives.

*Another possible version of the course content for the Advanced B / Superior level: Five macro-lessons in which the following themes are developed with a high level of metalinguistic consideration and in which additional included course content is unconventional and uncommon to the normal programming of language studies. Each theme is elaborated through the use of varying material: controlled practice exercises, real texts, television recordings, fragments of movies, etc.
