Acquiring knowledge of and insight into the sound system, word formation procedsses and sentence structures of Moroccan Arabic. Developing basic conversation skills in Moroccan Arabic (the spoken language of large regions in Morocco, including the most important cities). The goal of this course is to reach level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). At the end of this course you will be able to communicate in Moroccan Arabic about simple and daily life matters, such as introducing yourself, describing your family situation and housing situation, asking people for directions, and ordering food in a restaurant.
