Hours & Credits
Students are able to analyze morphological and semantical phenomena and to study the relevant literature independently. They are able to
identify weaknesses and strengths of the analyses and to report on their findings in a clear and straightforward way.
Students learn the basic principles of morphology and semantics of natural language. They understand the problems and some of the most
important suggested solutions. They learn about different semantic theories from different starting points.
There are three meetings of two hours each week. The meetings are interactive and active student participation is expected. Students give
small presentations on specific topics and we will discuss assignments and questions on the content of the lectures in class.
