Overview
Course description:
Today's world trade dynamics and a fierce competition in any marketplace have led to
the rapid improvement of technologies and processes in order to adapt to the
unpredictable demand. However, it is not enough to apply the latest technology or
invest high amounts of capital in the newest infrastructure; you must partner with the
other actors (organizations) of the chain so that you along with the others produce value
and optimize profitability. It is necessary as part of the Emphasis in International Trade
to learn the strategies and processes within a Global Supply Chain to guarantee that
students will develop the skills to know how to work in a collaborative manner. This
course will be of great contribution for the decision making process related to the
different areas of the supply chain.
