  • Overview

Theoretical-practical course, aimed at providing the student with the concepts of nonlinear devices at the level of discrete components (diodes and transistors), developing the ability to analyze electronic circuits with said devices and giving the basic foundations for their design. In addition, theoretical concepts will be reinforced with laboratory experiences.

Topics include: semiconductors, diodes, MOSFETs, BJTs, electrical characteristics of logic gates, voltage regulators, single-stage small-signal amplifiers with bipolar transistors modeled with hybrid parameters. This course contributes to the development of the following competencies of the graduate profile: (i) Effective communication, (ii) Application of knowledge of science and engineering in electronics, (iii) Development of projects under real conditions, and (iv) Use of modern technologies
