IntroductionThis subject introduces students to the importance of the body-mind link. Basic anatomical and physiological aspects of the human body and its influence on human behaviour will be covered. The focus of this subject will be on investigating how physical functions impact on the development of acute and chronic psychological disorders.Learning Objectives1. To become familiar with biopsychosocial aspects of a human being.
2. To become familiar with medical terms relating to counselling and behaviour management.
3. To apply knowledge to real life situations.
