Academic Information
- Course Selection
The list below is a sample list of courses available to study abroad students attending Bond University. Please see the full Bond University Course Catalog, linked below, for additional courses. - Course Structure
Classes are lecture style with seminar (small group) sessions following the lecture. Focus is on individual study. - Course Credit
Per Bond University's recommendation, 10 credit points = 3-4 U.S. semester credits (4.5-6 U.S. quarter credits). The final decision regarding credit transfer is determined by your home university. - Transcript Information
The transcript from Bond University will reflect credit points for each course listed below. Please be in touch with your U.S. university regarding credit transfer for this program. - COURSE LEVEL RECOMMENDATIONS
ISA offers course level recommendations for the courses listed below. Please note that the course level recommendations are based on Bond University course codes. Bond University course codes consist of 4 letters detailing the subject area (such as COMM for Communications) followed by a five-digit catalogue number with the following format: 11-xxx, 12-xxx, or 13-xxx. 11-xxx courses are taught at the Beginner level, and recommended by ISA as lower division courses equivalent to U.S. Freshman or Sophomore level courses. 12-xxx courses are Intermediate level, and 13-xxx courses are Advanced level. Bond Intermediate-Advanced level courses are recommended as upper division. Please note that some Bond courses do not follow the normal course code structure, because of this, ISA suggests that course descriptions and prior knowledge requirements be taken into account, in conjunction with codes, when establishing equivalencies. ISA recommendations are intended to facilitate the determination of course equivalencies by advisors and credential evaluators at participants' U.S. home institutions.
We do our best to highlight all courses open to study abroad students at Bond University on our page below; however, for the most up-to-date course offerings, please visit the Bond University Subject Search, linked below.
