  • CREDIT CONVERSION
    Per La Trobe University's recommendation, 15 credit points = 3-4 U.S. semester credits (4-6 U.S. quarter credits); 20 credit points = 4-5 U.S. semester credits (6-7 U.S. quarter credits).
The transcript from La Trobe will reflect La Trobe credit points for each course. Please be in touch with your U.S. university regarding credit transfer for this program.
  • COURSE LEVEL RECOMMENDATIONS
ISA offers course level recommendations for the courses listed below. Please note that the course level recommendations are based on La Trobe University subject (course) codes. All La Trobe subject codes consist of a series of three-to-four letter abbreviations detailing the discipline of the subject (such as BUS for Business) and an abbreviation of the course title, as well as a single number. Subject codes that include the numbers 1, 2 or 3 are typically designed for undergraduate students. A code that contains the number 1 is appropriate for students in their first year of studies, 2 second year, and 3 third year. Subjects designed for the second and third year of studies are recommended as upper division. These ISA recommendations are intended to facilitate the determination of course equivalencies by advisors and credential evaluators at participants' U.S. home institutions.
  • COMPULSORY MODULES Please note that La Trobe requires all international students to enroll in 2 compulsory modules: Academic Integrity Module and Indigenous Cultural Literacy for Higher Education. These classes are pass/fail and no credit will awarded.
