OverviewThis unit explores the relationships between population, human health and the environment. Taking an ecological approach it investigates the impacts of the biophysical, social, economic and political environments on health, and the resulting geographies of infectious and degenerative disease in both developed and developing societies.

Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
