It examines philosophies, theories and theorists over time that have helped shape our views of children and children?s learning. Students learn about social and political changes and their impact on curriculum and early childhood provisions in Australia today. Students recognise the importance of philosophy in early childhood education and care as they read research and engage with philosophical ideas.
