OverviewThe purpose of this unit is to raise students' awareness of anatomy and physiology as one of the biophysical foundations of human movement and health education. This unit of study will focus on studying the structure and function of a human body as well as applying this knowledge to a variety of situations related to human movement and health education. This unit aims to establish how the systems of the body influence and respond to movement, the body's energy systems and how training produces adaptations and affects performance.

Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
