    A distinctive feature of contemporary life is modern information and communication technologies (ICTs) with their strongly interactive character which has become an integral part of our lives. Alongside traditional computers, there is a diversity of digital devices and interfaces that we use in our personal, social and public life. User experience design (UXD) is a multidisciplinary area dealing with the design, evaluation and application of usable and effective ICTs in an enjoyable manner. User experience design is a user-centred approach to human interactions with digital environments that takes human factors seriously. The aim of this subject is to introduce students to the theories, techniques, ideas and models involved in designing and evaluating user-friendly and effective ICTs and other digital environments using ethnographic approaches.
