  • Overview

    In this advanced subject, students learn to solve 2D animation design problems for film and television. Topics covered at an advanced level include: genre, character and background design, aesthetics, motion and timing, camera and lighting techniques, studio terminology, formats, storyboard techniques, crew roles and responsibilities, and project management. Students experiment with ways to communicate ideas through animation, develop a pitch bible, and produce refined animation sequences.
