OverviewFocuses on practical applications relating to the theory of financial decision making. Case studies, empirical evidence and current issues in the financial media are used to illustrate key decisions made by managers of the firm. Topics include advanced capital budgeting issues, capital raising including venture capital and initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and advanced capital structure and dividend policy issues. One of the aims is to develop students' ability to make judgments in a realistic setting and to develop the capacity to articulate judgments both orally and in writing.

Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
