OverviewThis course taught in English offers a systematic comparison of French and English as far as sounds, vocabulary, word formation, and sentence structure are concerned. It will focus on the typical difficulties encountered by learners of French in pronunciation, orthography, and grammar in order to give them the tools to improve their accuracy and become independent learners.

Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
