OverviewThe focus of this course is on the multinational enterprise and the management of cross-border operations. Major topics include: multinational enterprises and the internationalisation process; motives for foreign investment; strategy of international business; organisation of international business; foreign market selection and entry strategy; exporting, importing and countertrade; the management of international business operations including an introduction to international human resource management, learning and knowledge management, manufacturing and materials management, marketing management, and accounting and financial management.

Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
