OverviewThis course provides a broad overview of Astronomy and our place in the Cosmos. It covers the solar system and its exploration, stars, galaxies and cosmology, the Earth as a habitable planet, and the search for life elsewhere in the universe. The course is delivered fully online and is suitable as an introductory course for science students or as a general education course for non-scientists.

Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
