Suva Study Abroad
The Fijian capital city of Suva serves as the political, administrative, and commercial center of the country and is the largest urban area in the South Pacific outside of New Zealand and Australia. Each year, several festivals take place in the city, including the Hibiscus Festival, which is the largest carnival in the South Pacific islands. Outside the city are beautiful beaches, perfect for swimming, surfing, snorkeling, and diving and nearby mountains that offer hiking and walking trails. This makes Suva the perfect spot for anyone who enjoys a laid-back, outdoor lifestyle.

What Our Students are Saying
"Studying Abroad is what you make it. So, don't just sit back and expect things to be the same as your home country. Get out there and explore, be adventurous, and interact with the locals. This will forever be one of the best things in your life."
Delany D.Rider University
"I came home with so many new, lifelong friends, filled with stories, and a new person. Whatever obstacle I faced while trying to study abroad was completely worth every second. It is an experience not encountered by many, but cherished by those who have the courage to do it."
Estefany A.Eastern Connecticut State University
"Overall, studying abroad in Fiji has been the best experience and decision that I have ever made. I was able to find out who I am and at the same time, figure out what my true passions in life are."
Jaclyn S.West Texas A&M University
"Of all the international students and the programs they chose, I'm super glad I chose ISA. ISA is like a family and our coordinator was super amazing. We all love her. ISA is great because they built us up for when we were on our own. It wasn't as scary. "
Kansas G.Middle Tennessee State University
"The support provided through ISA was amazing in streamlining my preparations for Fiji. Living in a 'paradise' is far different than visiting one, and nothing can fully prepare you for that. I think everyone needs the experience of living far from familiarity at least once in their lifetime to better understand appreciate their own lives. It's been a beautiful journey."
Nicole M.University of Denver
"Be open to new experiences, take in all there is to see and learn, don't let anyone hold you back, and even when you feel like all you want to do is go home, push through it because it's all part of the experience and believe me, if you make it through your time abroad, through all the ups and downs, you're going to be so proud of yourself and you will leave your new favorite country with so much knowledge, confidence, and memories to last a lifetime!"
Shelby L.Shippensburg University
