Please note that some programs, including remote learning opportunities, are not eligible for scholarships.View all Funding Options
Living in ISA housing will give you the opportunity to experience aspects of the Kiwi lifestyle that are inaccessible to the average visitor to New Zealand. Housing in Auckland is centrally located near the main shopping and entertainment district as well as many parks. All ISA Auckland housing options are either within walking distance of both campuses or conveniently located to public transit routes. Travel times to the various university buildings generally range between five to 20 minutes depending on housing and class locations. With an open-mind and flexibility, the experience of living in another culture can be highly rewarding.
Housing is included in the program cost; however, you will pay a $300 refundable security deposit if living in ISA housing. ISA may retain some, or all, of this deposit in case of damage to property, or if utility usage exceeds the allotted monthly amount.
Apartment Without Meals
Apartments are a great housing option if you are seeking independence during your time abroad but also want the support of the university. You will live with other ISA students in a single gendered apartment with two single-occupancy bedrooms, common living space, kitchen, a shared bathroom, and a balcony. Linens, towels, and WiFi are included, laundry facilities and a gym are available on-site, and weekly housekeeping is provided.
