ISA offers course level recommendations in an effort to facilitate the determination of course levels by credential evaluators.We advice each institution to have their own credentials evaluator make the final decision regrading course levels.

Fields, vector spaces, linear transformations, eigenvectors, spectral decomposition, quadratic forms.
This is a second course in linear algebra. MATH 151 is a prerequisite. The aim is to give an axiomatic treatment of vector spaces. We will cover basic topics: linear transformations, subspaces, isomorphisms, dimension; and discuss some applications. We will also look at some basic properties of inner product spaces.
Course learning objectives
Students who pass this course should be able to:
- Know linear algebra, and understand its signifance.
- Demonstrate an understanding by stating definitions and results, and solving typical linear algebra problems.
- Demonstrate an ability to create mathematical arguements and communicate them.

Some courses may require additional fees.
Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
