Recommended U.S. Quarter Units4 - 6
Hours & Credits
The calculus of vector-valued functions of one variable (curves in the plane and in space), of scalar-valued functions of several variables and of vector-valued functions of several variables (vector fields); double and triple integrals, line and surface integrals.
Course learning objectives
Students who pass this course will be able to:
- methods of differential and integral calculus for multivariable functions.
- conceptual understanding of the underlying ideas of multivariable calculus.
- basic theorems of calculus, their proofs or proof outlines.
- applications and motivating examples.
Courses and course hours of instruction are subject to change.
Eligibility for courses may be subject to a placement exam and/or pre-requisites.
