    PURPOSE
    The First Year Theory of Architecture course introduces the basic theories and principals that underpin architectural design and presents the tools necessary to articulate form and space.

    To gain an understanding of the architecture and the role of an architect.
    To gain an understanding of the aspects of design.
    To learn how to use form and space and how to manipulate these to create architecture.
