What Our Students are Saying
"Ultimately, you get what you put in. If you want your experience to be worthwhile and memorable, you have to put in the effort as well. Don't go study abroad and only have expectations for the country and the people. Have expectations and goals for yourself. This is the best way to completely immerse in a culture and stretch yourself."
Ashley P.Chapman University
"ISA not only opened the door to my experiences in a new country, but allowed me to grow and experience things I have never had the opportunity to until this past semester. The people and places I was able to visit changed me forever and I'll never forget my semester abroad."
Evelyn S.University of Colorado, Boulder
"Do everything. This might sound like frivolous advice, but I truly mean it with all sincerity. If you are taking the time to study abroad, make the absolute most of it. Make a list of all the things you want to accomplish and keep adding to it, and make sure you don't leave the country until you complete everything on that list. Chase new opportunities, because you may never get them again. In my case, the chase led me to leap off a 300 meter building, ride horses along a beach, learn to surf, stand inches away from a tiger, direct an original play, quite nearly work on the set of a major motion picture, and traverse the mountains of one of the greenest places on Earth. See and do as much as you can: you have already made it this far, so take every opportunity!"
Jessica J.Chapman University
"Don't sweat all the little details. There are people there to support you and tell you everything you need to know. Enjoy your time abroad because it you'll be shocked how it flies by and you're already leaving, in the blink of an eye"
Michael M.University of San Diego
