PURPOSE
The purpose of this module is to equip students with essential knowledge and skills to actually implement environmental management systems.LEARNING OUTCOMES
After completion of this module, students will:demonstrate that they have detailed and integrated knowledge of theory and relevant methods at the forefront of the field of environmental management systems;
demonstrate that they can apply such theory and methods to the solution of actual and unfamiliar problems relevant to the field of environmental management systems;
demonstrate that they have the ability to use and apply a range of specialised methods to address complex problems by formulating and implementing an actual environmental management system in totality.CORE CONTENT

One comprehensive environmental management system - formulated according to the ISO 14001 standard and implemented in an existing industrial context.
