PURPOSE
To create an awareness and a thorough understanding of the importance of international economic issues with specific reference to the classical theory of trade, modern theories of trade, trade policy instruments and their impacts, economic integration, balance of payments accounts, the foreign exchange market, and macroeconomic policy in an open economy.LEARNING OUTCOMES
