  • Overview

    The module?s objective is to introduce students to the current global financial and economic crisis, to the particular forms that it has taken in Ireland compared to other countries (in Europe and North America), and to its unfolding impacts on the economic, socio-cultural and political geographies of Ireland. The course will include both theoretical perspectives on the crisis and discussions grounded in empirical case-studies mainly but not exclusively in Ireland.
