Overview
Rationale And Purpose Of The Module:
The protection of the environment in conjunction with economic growth will become one of the great challenges of the 21st century for a multitude of reasons. If the electronics industry is to sustain its growth levels of the last number of decades going forward this challenge will become foremost in the job function of its employees. This module will introduce the concepts which underpin this challenge. It seeks to inform students of the necessity of environmental awareness in the electronics industry and to introduce the
means by which these environmental issues can be addressed.
