Overview
This syllabus is set at A1/A2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Lecture: introduction to contemporary Spanish and Latin American cultures and societies. These include: transculturation and indigenous cultures in Latin America; contemporary Spanish and Latin American literature, basic concepts of Spanish linguistics. Tutorials and lab: working with set text-book, back-up audio-visual an online materials, students are introduced to past tenses, pronominal verbs and more complex structures in the Spanish language.
