  • Overview

    Learning by doing a mix of theoretical lessons, field trips and practical workshops, the aim of the course is the analysis of visual merchandising strategies for showrooms, concept stores, mono- brand stores, and department stores.  Students can understand the basis of fashion business and fashion buying, retailing and merchandising as a result of the analytical and critical teaching approach used during the course. Students will learn how to develop an idea to realize their own retail strategy as final project.

    Objectives: 

    • Learn the most recent fashion industry developments. 
    • Understand the tools used to create a strategic language for fashion brands.
    • Analyze the strategies of a fashion brand.
