  • Overview

    This course aims to examine the phenomenon of globalization in its evolution and in the complexity of its dimensions with a view to discussing the cultural dimension of globalization. In this reflection, aspects such as the development and impact of contemporary media in a society in permanent and fast change, the implications thereof derived to the configuration of individual and collective identities and to the organization of urban spaces will be considered. Special emphasis will be put on the examination of the implications of the pandemic for globalization and on the role cultural globalization may have in the post-COVID world.
