Overview
This module aims to introduce the conceptual foundations of consumer protection law in Scotland; toodevelop individual and group skills in respect of independent learning and the utilisation of relevant primaryand secondary legal material; to inculcate the essentials of good legal writing, including clarity, concisenessand relevancy; to encourage students to evaluate critically the development, content and operation of themain areas of consumer protection law and to highlight, where relevant and appropriate, differences inapproach in the laws of the jurisdictions of the United Kingdom.
