This course explores the different strategies used in the critical grounding of knowledge and religion by lookingat key historical figures ? Marx, Durkheim ? at key historical movements ? the legacy of Frankfurt School andthe Critical Theory it spawned ? and at feminist theorists, past and present ? de Beauvoir and Irigaray.
