Overview
This module aims to introduce students to certain aspects of the legal regulation of sport. On completion of theunit students should be able to: Critically evaluate recent developments in European and United States law thatimpact upon sports; Conduct individual research and complete assignments requiring substantial legal analysis;Appreciate and discuss the arguments in favour of, and against, increasing legal intervention in sport;Understand and explain issues/proposals for reform in selected areas of law as they apply to sports.
