    This module seeks to explore some of the challenges facing management. Key functions for all organisations are
    those of HRM, Marketing, Operations and Finance. Managers must understand the different demands and
    constraints associated with the interactions of these different core functions in order to formulate appropriate
    strategies. This module sets out the importance of strategy and then delivers a range of related topics which
    together provide an insight into how activities in the different areas of an organisation are interdependent and
    both influence and challenge management. Central to these aims are the need for an insight into the functions
    of the Marketing and HRM functions which this module addresses in so
