Overview
This module seeks to explore some of the challenges facing management. Key functions for all organisations arethose of HRM, Marketing, Operations and Finance. Managers must understand the different demands andconstraints associated with the interactions of these different core functions in order to formulate appropriatestrategies. This module sets out the importance of strategy and then delivers a range of related topics whichtogether provide an insight into how activities in the different areas of an organisation are interdependent andboth influence and challenge management. Central to these aims are the need for an insight into the functionsof the Marketing and HRM functions which this module addresses in so
