  • Overview

    Course Objective
    The student has a good knowledge of the Syriac grammar and a first experience with reading various representatives of the wealth of Syriac literature (Bible translations, commentaries, treatises, poetry) with the help of the available resources (grammars, dictionaries)

    Course Content
    This course is a follow-up to the course "Introduction in the Syriac language" (L_GOBAALG005) and aims at extending the student's knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. It includes reading practices of original. Syriac sources parallel to the grammatical training

    Written exam at the end of the course and diagnostic exams during the course, which will help the student to monitor his or her progress
