Overview
Description
The content of the subject corresponds to a first course on microprocessors and focuses on the detailed study of the functional and generic units of microprocessors with CISC architecture, making use of a real device, without this implying a loss of generality. The most common peripheral units are also studied and interconnected with the microprocessor.
Course Learning Outcomes
The course seeks to empower students with the knowledge of the microprocessors used in the field of communications, computers and digital controllers, their first programming level and interfacing with other devices.
