    Presentations, formal and informal greetings, farewells, Identification and description of people. Review of basic tenses.

    VOCABULARY

    General basic vocabulary review.
    Parts of the body, places and university careers, adjectives of description, activities, jobs.
    Medical chart terms.

    UNIT 2. Porfavor, ¿me podría??
    FUNCTIONS AND GRAMMAR
    Verbs ?ser? and ?estar? with adjectives, asking for information, favors; modal verbs ?can?, ?could?, ?might?, ?should? for suggesting, asking, replying.

    VOCABULARY

    Adjectives, places, people description.
    First-aid terms, minor accidents.
    Triage vocabulary.

    UNIT 3.Déjeme ayudarlo.
    FUNCTIONS AND GRAMMAR
    Regular present tense of verbs finishing in ? ir, present tense of the verb to go (ir), infinitive. Irregular present tense, to have (tener), possesives and proper nouns. Information questions / yes-no questions.

    VOCABULARY
    Offer help, information.
    Adjectives, verbs and nouns. Health problems, remedies.
    Vocabulary in health surveys.
    Health care vocabulary: instruments, remedies, procedures.

    FUNCTIONS AND GRAMMAR
    Present tense, Imperative. Modal verbs: ?deber?, ?tener que?, ?poder?.

    Habits, instructions for patients. Preventive healthcare terms.

    Past tenses: past continuous, simple past, past perfect, past perfect continuous.

    Future tenses: future simple, future continuous, future perfect.

    Healthy habits, healthy conditions.
    Giving a preventive talk.

    Conditionals: Zero, first, second and third.

    VOCABULARY

    Patient behaviour, attitudes, personalities, future consequences.
