  • Overview

If you would like to see a full list of course offerings at UCD, please visit the university academic listings at: http://www.ucd.ie/students/course_search.htm

Once there, you can search for courses in multiple ways. The easiest way is to click on the "Modules" tab and then either searching by subject, by school, or by keyword search. For example, if you were searching for Drama courses, you could click the "Modules" tab, and then you can either click "Search by Subject" where you would select the "Arts & Humanities" and then "Drama Studies", or you can click "Search by School" where you would select "English, Drama & Film", or lastly, you can click "Keyword Search" where you would type in "Drama" or any other keyword you would like to search for. Make sure you're checking off the appropriate levels on the left-hand side before you press search, or it will automatically just search for courses in the Level 1 category. You will need to check off Levels 1-3 when searching for courses, as Levels 4-5 are Master's level.

If you have any questions about the courses on the UCD website, please contact the ISA Site Specialist for Ireland.

Course Disclaimer

Courses and course hours of instruction are subject to change.

Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.

ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits are converted to semester credits/quarter units differently among U.S. universities. Students should confirm the conversion scale used at their home university when determining credit transfer.

Please reference fall and spring course lists as not all courses are taught during both semesters.

Please note that some courses with locals have recommended prerequisite courses. It is the student's responsibility to consult any recommended prerequisites prior to enrolling in their course.
